One is a good base meaning, a clean moisturized face. I learned that you should moisturize immediately before you prime. For my thoughts on Moisturizers I am ALL over the place. I love a lot of different ones. If you would like recommendations let me know in the comments!
Which leads me to step two, primer (you can read my thoughts on primer here.)
step three is a good setting spray. I use setting spray at many stages of applying my makeup. I wet my sponge/brush before I grab my foundation. Too Faced Born this Way is my absolute favorite at the time!
Then I my face after I apply my foundation. There are a few different types of setting sprays I prefer a pump rather than the mist (my daughter maced me once with a Morphe' -- which I love too.. But pumps are easier to me than mist but they are both great and I do use both. But this It Cosmetics is my fave at the moment
Step four, I apply a loose setting powder which is , I recently tried Laura Mercier , read my review here and then I use a pressed setting powder ( I LOVE UD All Nighter)
