This really is the answer to a lot of my problems. It's always a guessing game when I bring the baby to the beach. If she stays in her stroller she will get cranky. I can't let her down she will fall face first and eat the sand. If I put her on a blanket I she can manipulate her way out. So this is a great idea. It sets up in seconds and I did it by myself. All I had to do was unfold the tarp and unroll the sides. Now I didn't take pictures because I was in the grass.
It's a nice big play area both the bottom and sides are made from a waterproof easy to clean material. They are both also very strong so my baby won't tear it with her hands. Now I wasn't able to test this theory but I'm thinking once the tubes are in the ground it will be a sturdy area. She will be protected from outside elements and be able to lay down and nap when she needs to. It's also a great place for my other children to take a break and eat a snack.
The tubes are designed to slide in the stand and be stabilized. If I can rig something up to make them stand up in the grass this will be my new best friend. I will bring it while we are fishing. She can play under the tent and have freedom to roam a little. I can imagine it's no fun being confined to the stroller.
It all folds neatly into a drawstring bag that is lightweight and easy to carry. Plus that makes it very easy to store. The bag is made from the exact easy to clean material that the rest of the playpen is made from.
Overall a great product and I will work on coming up with a solution for the grass. Since we are more a fishing family than beachgoers. It's not for lack of desire to go to the beach they just aren't' close to us.
