I have never experienced a facial steamer or sauna but I have used a hot tub and really enjoyed it. I thought it was extremely relaxing to my muscles and relaxing to me overall. So when I got a chance to review the one from Nova I was very curious but excited to see how it would work.
The design it is really cute with a little flower look at opening. It's easy to pour the water in without making a mess because it comes with it's own spouted cup. The water reservoir is almost hidden so the water will not come dumping out once it's filled.
I was a little nervous to steam my face but it felt amazing. The steam is hot (I mean of course it's steam) but once I backed away a little it was a refreshing, rel;axing treat for my face. I felt like I was in a spa getting a facial treatment. With one full reservoir it generates up to 10 minutes of steam. Steam is great to open pores, hydrate skin, and remove dirt and oil from the skin. It's also a great cold treatment. Think how nice this steam would feel if you were all congested.
The steamer itself is small and compact so it will not take up much space but pretty enough to leave on a vanity or bathroom counter. I really enjoyed my facial steam but I haven't had a chance to sit down for 10 minutes. My face did feel awesome after using. It felt youthful and dewy.

ReplyDeleteI was in a sauna once - it was a very cleansing, de-toxiifying experience! My favorite way to pamper myself at home is to sit in a warm scented tup, with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the bathroom door!
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a sauna but one of my best friends couldn't live without her weekly sauna! I feel pampered at home if I just get some quiet time all by myself!
