Can openers and I don't get along very well. I DESPISE the manual ones but the white electric ones don't cooperate all the time either. I have one that is almost brand new and it keeps getting hung up on a can then I can't get the can off. UGH the frustration of having to unplug it and PULL on the can. Ha there are worst things that could happen in life but boy at the time it happens I get so mad.
So when I was chosen to review this cordless one from Kitchen Palz I was very curious to see if it would be better than the others. One way I know it will better is it's portable so I'm not limited to opening the cans on my counter. It would also be great to bring with us camping. That's one plus already in my book.
Then it is designed to give smooth edges. That's another plus in my book! I've been sliced by a can top only once, I am very careful not to let it happen again. It is perfect for people who have arthritis, hand pain, stiff fingers, etc. no worries hand strength is not needed to use this opener.
All you have to do is press a button to turn it on and turn it off it's that simple. The can opener can be used for any size cans even those HUGE economy size ones! Another great thing is it's a not bulky it's actually pretty sleek so if I had any room, I could put it in my utensil drawer.
If you want to buy your own Cordless Electric Can opener you can here.

This can opener is for me. I too have tried most of the other ones, and just end up frustrated. With my arthritis, this would be perfect.

ReplyDeleteI have a manual can opener bur due to an accident I have no use of my right upper extremity so this would mean the world! The accident was NOT my fault but the driver was driving her ex-husbands vehicle and had NO insurance. As a result my right hand, arm and shoulder have a condition known as RSD / CRPS. I have always wanted one of these but never could get it off the shelf (at a place like Good Will) in time before someone else got it! I've been getting more problems in that of the leg on that same side and foot on the other, it is becoming more difficult on some days so I have to rely on others to do things for me. This was so wonderful I shared the giveaway online & offline!
