Blue Xtava Rimini 1500 W Ionic Hair Dryer

I hate to blow dry my hair. Even though it's is not very thick it is long so I guess that is why it takes such a long time to blow dry. Normally shower at night then let my hair air dry or I'll try not to wash my hair during the day unless I have a few hours to dry and style my hair.  I have tried  many different hair dryers over they years. Of course some work better than others but none have really sped up the process.

I was excited to review the Rimini 1500 W Ionic Hair Dryer because it is designed to reduce drying time and as an added bonus it reduces frizz for smoother, shinier hair. I have mentioned this before a huge problem with frizz and when I blow dry my hair in a hurry it poofs up really big. If I don't blow dry my hair I lack volume so I need volume but not that much. I need a happy medium.

I had no idea the little attachment that comes with some hair dryers is called a concentration nozzle and is  for precise styling and maximized condensed air flow control to the area you are targeting. I was really happy that the Rimini comes with a customized concentration nozzle because that means the nozzle is made to specifically fit this hair dryer and will fit properly so I don't have to worry about it falling off while in use.

 

This hair dryer has 3 heat levels, 2 power levels, and a  cool shot button. The buttons are easy to switch from one setting to another.  I was very surprised at how light weight it really is. I was holding my hair dryer and then picked up the Rimini and it was a big difference.  That should help stop my hand from getting tired while drying my hair.

The handle is very narrow and easy to hold. Even on low it has a nice wind flow and of course as you increase the setting the heat increases as well. I read that is quiet hair dryer and it is but only on low. Don't get me wrong it's not extremely loud on high but  I had a silent hair dryer.. well of course it was not completely silent.. but it spoiled me none the less because I have never found one that quiet again.

I love that there is a screen on the back to stop my hair from being tangled in the hair dryer. The screen too fits very well and does not wiggle or fall off. But it is removable to make it easier to clean the small amount of junk that may collect in the fan.
