Reed & Barton Heritage Collection - Giveaway

When we need to cut the cake at parties I usually pull out the old cooking spatula and a butter knife. I know very classy right -- I'm so fancy! So when I got a chance to work with Reed & Barton and review their Heritage Collection Banded Bead 2 Piece Cake Server Set I was really excited.. When I opened the package and saw how beautiful I was even more excited.

Words and pictures will never explain how gorgeous this set is with it's ever lasting mirror finish.

The set is is designed with vintage hammered detail and beaded banding on a generous, hollow cylindrical handle. With nickle plate handle and sterling silver blades.

When I pulled them out I was very pleased with how heavy both the cake knife and cake server are.  I also noticed the quality is amazing. 

The material is very strong and doesn't seem like it will bend or brake like other silverware/flatware I have used.  Last year for my child's birthday party I broke a serving spoon in the ice cream... well my friend broke it so I know all about flimsy flatware.

The handles are a nice size and are not clunky so they are very easy to grip. Cutting and serving cake has never been so elegant at my house. My guest will be very surprised at the next birthday party I throw. 

This set would make an amazing wedding gift or Christmas gift for a newly married couple.  It comes elegantly boxed which makes it even prettier to wrap as a gift.  Order the set engraved for an extra personal touch.
