Oleavene Charcoal Beauty Sponge

I have tried a few other sponges before but the Oleavane Charcoal Beauty Sponge it really amazed me. I knew to expect the sponge to be hard before it's  wet but I took it out of the package it was so hard it felt like Styrofoam. I had to be careful not to break it.  If you notice she shape is much different from most beauty sponges, they are normally round and pretty small.

The Oleavane sponge is  gentle enough to use in your daily beauty regimen.  Some benefits of using the charcoal beauty sponge are it gently exfoliates, cleanses, and is naturally pH balances. The activated bamboo charcoal absorbs toxins, fights bacteria and excess oils which leaves your face glowing, refreshed, and radiant. It even preps skin to boost the absorption of your favorite serums and moisturizers.

In addition to all of that, the gentle exfoliation is soft enough for a baby's skin and will not irritate your skin like harsher exfoliating methods.

So I wet the sponge and the first thing that I noticed is how soft it was when wet. I mean super soft love to rub the sponge soft so that was a huge plus. I put my soap and the Oleavene Sponge made my soap lather much more than me rubbing the soap on my face with my fingers. No matter what soap I used, that was the case.

It's a 100% Natural, eco-friendly and biodegradable. The Konjac fibers are from an area  is free from chemicals, pollution and irritants.

The tear drop shape is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand while the rounded point allows you to exfoliate sensitive hard to reach areas. The tear drop shapes makes it extremely unique as well and the design is large enough to use on your body and face. With the little pointy tip I get under my eyes without getting soap in my eyes. I could never do that with my fingers. And soap in the eyes is no fun, ouch!

Oleavene offers 100% satisfaction guarantee with no hassle or catches so that results in stress free buying. This sponge would go great in a skincare/body wash gift basket.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  2. I admittedly don't know a lot about women's beauty products, but I would have thought that charcoal would have made more of a mess than it cleaned up! Boy was I surprised!

  3. I've tried charcoal scrubs and have had great results from them, so I think I'll have to give one of these sponges a whirl. It sounds really promising!

  4. Wow...I've never used a beauty sponge before...I hadn't even heard of one until today! I usually use a peach apricot scrub to exfoliate my face, but this sounds like an interesting technique to try. I've had organic beauty bars that contained charcoal and I loved the way it left my skin feeling. I also love the way this sponge looks...it seems like exfoliating with it would be relaxing.

  7. I like the tear drop shape. That would make it great for getting to every area on your face, neck, and behind your ears (I'm thinking of my 6yr old with the ear thing). :)
