I think it's safe to say from your comments most of us agree, laundry is no fun. It's actually hard work. Washing clothes is not hard but sorting and folding. I want my children to pitch in so I ask them to put their clothes in the hampers but then all of my clothes are mixed. I have goods with every days and whites mixed in with everything else. Luckily I have not had many white shirts pop up pink but I have seen striped shirts were the white strip turned a lighter shade of the opposite color after washing. But we all know that bleeding is to be expected .
Until now - Purex is introducing their newest detergent - Purex No Sort with anti-color transfer technology. So what does that mean to you? This is only the latest innovation in laundry and the anti-color transfer technology traps loose dyes in the wash and reduces color bleeding accidents in your mixed color loads leaving your clothes bright and clean.
You still have to be cautious and wash strongly colored fabrics or new clothes, especially jeans, separately at least 5 times before doing a mixed color load with Purex No Sort.
Purex is giving away $1,000 and a year's supply of No Sort laundry detergent click here to enter. But while you're here you can enter to win one of three bottles of Purex No Sort Laundry detergent. That means I have to go over the rules so here they are:

I am pretty strict... I've turned enough whites pink in my day!
ReplyDeletei like never sort... haha. i don't own any red clothes so maybe that's why its never a problem. i try to go with like colors but the whites go in with the brights, and the towels all stay separate. although my whites dull very quickly, i just don't have the time or the patience to sit there and sort it all out! so this would be perfect for me!! lol
ReplyDeleteEvery since my beige shorts turned pink I've been stricter. I usually am weary of washing light colors with reds or new dark wash blue jeans.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too strict but I do a pretty good job at it
ReplyDeletefunny - i sort the adults' clothing but not the kids'

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty strict about sorting mine and my husband's stuff into light, white, dark, red and towels. The kids stuff all washes together. Or at least that's the way I used to be. Lately I wash my stuff with the kid clothes.
ReplyDeleteI am a real fanatic about sorting my laundry! I firmly believe you can drastically extend the life of all fabrics if treated properly.

ReplyDeleteI'm very strict about sorting since I turned everything pink the first load of laundry I did after I got married back in the 70'2 lol
ReplyDeleteAfter experiencing enough pink socks and underware, I'm very strict with sorting :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say I'm pretty strict about sorting because I have a hamper that is divided into three bags...one is for dark, one for towels/linens and one for other colors (or mixed colors that I do not want to wash with the darks). Within those categories, I still sometimes have to sort a little but mostly it's already done.
ReplyDeleteI WOULD SAY VERY STRICT I WANT MY WHITES WHITE AND MY COLORS BRIGHT. ITS JUST MY HUSBAND AND I SO ITS PRETTY EASY TO KEEP THEM SORTED. THANKS FOR THE CHANCE.
ReplyDeleteI have always been SUPER strict with sorting my laundry. By color, weight of fabric, etc...

I'm not very strict. I only sort my laundry into two piles - whites and colors (OMG, I sound racist - lol). I've tried not sorting before and my whites end up looking purpleish or orangeish.

ReplyDeleteI am not that strict about mixing colors and whites. If I'm not using bleach on the whites, and I don't have any colors that bleed I wash all colors together.
ReplyDeleteI am really strict about sorting. Colors, Whites, towels/bedding are my general loads!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible about sorting any of my laundry.

It depends on the week. Sometimes I am not very strict with sorting if I do not have much time or if I have a certain article of clothing that I need that day. I usually do sort darks and lights into separate loads to prevent fading and color bleeding. I would love to try the No Sort so I can save time by incorporating mixed loads.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I sort is my whites from my colors, and that's because I like to bleach my whites.
ReplyDeleteI sort everything :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not that strict about sorting clothing.
