My children have always been interested in joining marital art plus I took martial arts and think they would benefit from classes. But with five children it's a little costlier than I expected. When I was chosen to review an online Martial art class from Udemy, I can't tell you how excited I was. All five of my children can do the lessons at a much lower cost. Not to mention in the comfort of my home so no rushing to classes and trying to fit that into my busy schedule.
The course comes with 14 lectures and is interactive so you or your children can chat with other members. The courses range in length but non are extremely long. They go over things like greetings salutes and stances. There is also a printable handbook that goes over etiquette and terms.
The site is easy to navigate and once I signed up for the course it is accessed from my home page. The videos I watched have a clear picture quality and sound without glitches. The courses are very informative and taught where children can easily understand. It gets them involved by making them imitate what is being taught. In a Martial Arts classroom setting they would also learn by doing so this is not only showing them but encouraging them to participate.
This course can be taken at your own pace and if your child wants to practice you can go over the same lesson as many times as needed. We have not finished the course only a few lessons but my children are having a lot of fun with this course. The only thing is now they are asking for uniforms and belts -- I'll have to skip the belt tying lesson.
Udemy is giving you a chance to win this course so you know I have to go over the rules

this would cool for my son
ReplyDeleteI have never taken it, but both kids have been asking to. This would be a great way to try it out before we went to classes.
ReplyDeletewe have taken martial arts but not recently
ReplyDeleteNo, I have never taken any martial arts classes. I would love to learn with my son and will probably do it as a family if we win.
ReplyDeleteI have not taken martial arts yet and I would like to and my children to. I may take this along with them.
ReplyDeleteTo learn and appreciate martial arts at such a young age is good for your children. I hope they’ll enjoy each session and would be dedicated into learning more about it. Martial arts would not only help improve their physical and mental aspect, it would also help them develop a positive attitude towards themselves, and hone their discipline along the way.

I absolutely think karate lessons should be fun for children. I think a lot of people first approach training out of practical decision -but having fun, and really enjoying it is what keeps them into it.
