Mally's EverColor Poreless Face Defender is the perfect finishing touch for your makeup. It yields an utterly sheer, featherweight product that diffuses the look of pores, minimizes fine lines, and helps protect your makeup so it last from morning to night. Face Defender gives you a flawless matte finish without the dry, ashy look of powder. If you are like me you think wow but where do I fit this into my beauty routine? So I found a super cute video on the Mally site and what they have found is powder settles into your fine lines and pores and instead of covering them it in a sense accents them!! That's not why we wear make up is it? We never want to accent our flaws.
So Evercolor Poreless Face Defender comes in a compact with the most amazing application sponge. It is clear with a cream like consistency. To apply you dip the sponge and pat on. They recommend not rubbing because you may move your make up. I was so afraid to let go of my powder, it has been a part of my beauty routine for a very long time. But I threw caution to the wind and tried Mally's Evercolor Poreless Face Defender.
I know I've mentioned before my skin is oily and with this product I have experienced no oiliness. My face looked matte and finished just like i would have applied powder. It blends very well and being clear of course you don't see it. What I did notice is my pores didn't look as big. Normally I scream in the mirror because my pores look like craters. But with the FaceDefender they were not as noticeable. It feels like nothing on and it only cakes if you put too much in one area but that's easily corrected. Just blend a little more. My foundation lasted all day and I experienced no pealing or flaking. If you notice my makeup looks flawless. It's like I have no blemishes what so ever, which is NOT the case but it's nice to look like that. I give this product 2 thumbs up. It's one of those products you don't know you need until you try it. Oh and the sponge is so soft and works so great if I can buy just the sponge I'm getting some.
I will admit I thought great another mascara but I am a huge mascara snob. I found one that I love and since then no others come close. So I was prepared to hate this mascara. I was pretty convinced it would not be for me but I tried it any way. When I pulled it out I thought it was incredibly cute in it's pink tube. So I opened the Mally Volumizing Mascara the brush is a normal shape and not extremely thick. I liked the shape and size because I could easily use it on my lower lashes. That is a really big deal because most of the time I use a separate mascara for my bottom lashes.
I applied the mascara by doing the wiggle technique, not the swiping. If you are not familiar with the wiggle let me explain, you take the brush and 'wiggle" it from side to side against the a lashes instead of going from the base of your lashes up. This is my go to technique and I find it helps achieve volume avoid clumping and sticking. I was very amazed at the amount of volume this mascara provided. The wow factor was there as well because it made my lashes bold and visible. Even the hubby complimented on it. It goes on easily and dries quickly between layers. This can be an everyday mascara or a dramatic look, night on the town mascara. It is very long lasting with no flaking or peeling. Despite being waterproof it removes easily without a messy residue. I give this mascara 2 thumbs up I love it. It works as well as my favorite which is saying a lot.

Oh wow...you can REALLY tell the difference with the mascara...even from one coat to two coats...there's a big difference. It looks like your eyelashes grew.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing a lot about Mally Beauty, too. I really liked that you took a picture of each coat of mascara. I don't like my makeup to look too crazy, and seeing it on you assures me I'd look just fine!
