I have an uncontrollable sweet tooth so most chocolate doesn't last long around me. I recently discovered that I like to make chocolate covered fruit and pretzels. It's fun, easy, and delicious but none of it lasts very long around here. When I got a was chosen to review Van Wyk Sweet and Salty Pretzel Rods I was so excited.
Let me tell you that Van Wyk Sweet and Salty Pretzel Rods are made for fund raisers. I don't know about you but my children seem to have an over abundance of fund raisers and they are not different. The box contains 52 pretzel rods which your organization can sell for ONLY $1.00 a piece. Organizations usually make 40 - 50% profit and have a lot of success selling Sweet and Salty Pretzel Rods.
There are 3 different types in the box 20 chocolate covered with M&Ms, 20 chocolate covered with toffee, and 12 chocolate covered with sprinkles. When my box arrived you know it didn't take me long before I ripped one open. I of course went for the chocolate covered with M&Ms I mean duh, the more chocolate the better. I bit in and wow, delicious! It was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. My hubby of course had to try one when I saw the box and grabbed a toffee one. He too said wow these are so good so I shared a sprinkle one with the kids. They too loved it, my five year old daughter even tried to swindle another piece out of me.
I love the idea of using these as fund raiser items because they would sell themselves. I know I brought a box of candy to my office and people flocked around it to buy. With a unique item like chocolate covered pretzels for $1.00 then add that it taste gourmet it wouldn't take very long to sell a box. As you can see the chocolate or candy coating is not skimpy in any way. Just looking at the pretzel I would expect to pay more than $1.00 a piece.
The cost per box depends on the size of your order so I will price these to raise money for Cajun Squirrel Rescue.Van Wyk also has other confections that they offer for fund raisers. If you want more information on how your organization can sell VanWyk's products visit the website or call 1-888-465-5141.
Van Wyk is generous enough to give two of my readers a chance to win their own box of Sweet & Salty Pretzel Rods. So you know that means I have to go over the giveaway rules.
Entries will be accepted from 3/7/14 - 3/21/14
