Rock Your Hair - Bombshell Big Hair Powder

I hate to write negative reviews but sometime it has to happen. I have come to the conclusion that I won't like everything I try and you deserve to know the good and the bad.  I recently got to try Michael O'Rourke Rock Your Hair Bombshell Big Hair Powder from Swaggable. 

I was very excited to be lucky enough to be chosen to it because I am always looking for the best thing to give my hair volume.  The first day I got this powder I thought the packaging was adorable. I also appreciated how generous the sample was. 

I dumped a good bit of powder in my hand and rubbed it all over my hair.  I was immediately sorry that I put so much because I couldn't get the baby powder look OUT of my hair.  But I scrubbed a little with my hand and it went away. I didn't notice much of a difference in volume but what I did notice was a this uncontrollable desire to wash my hair. My hair felt sticky and straw like only at the roots where I applied it. It was so nasty to me I didn't want to touch my own hair. That night I couldn't wait to run to the shower. 

I tried it again with very little powder. I again, didn't see any noticeable difference in the volume. The urge to wash my hair was not as bad because my hair did not feel as sticky or straw-like with less powder.  Over all I give this product two thumbs down. It didn't work as promised plus it made my hair feel gross. Not a product I would recommend or buy again. A blogger buddy of mine loved hers so this is just my opinion.
