The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC






Thanks to Influenster  I just discovered what I will watch Tuesdays on ABC at 8/7c, The Taste. I usually enjoying cooking competitions because I find chefs fascinating to watch. It always amazes me how they can just whip up something that looks delicious based on the what the challenge calls for. I like to cook but doubt I would make it on any cooking show that I have seen before.
The Taste is hosted by hosted by Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludovic Lefebvre, and Brian Malarkey. 


And the competition requires the chefs, both amateur and professional, to make one SPOONful for each panelist in one hour.


For the auditions the potential contestants had the choice of  what dish they wanted to cook and where allowed to serve the panelist a spoonful each of their dish. Each panelist had then opportunity to pick four people to compete on the team.

Throughout the competition the contestants are given a challenge like your dish must contain one of the following ingredients.  Based on the taste of the one spoonful the panelist decide who stays and who goes and each week two people are eliminated. The panelist judge blind meaning they do not know who prepared the food they are tasting so they could very well eliminate someone from their own team.  The contestants also have a challenge that gives one person immunity. Can you imagine one small spoon changing your life?
